The burial of the founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke-Agbara Prophet Michael Olowere has begun in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The revered prophet died on July 6, 2023 at the age of 100.
Guests have gathered at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan for the burial of the man known as Baba Automatic.
Burial rites began on October 18 with a revival at the church’s district headquarters.
A service of songs took place at CAC Oke-Imole, Agbowo, Ibadan on Monday, October 23. On Tuesday, a day of tributes was held at CAC Oke-Agbara Oluwatedo, Ashi, Ibadan.

On Wednesday, Bola Are and other groups paid their respects at CAC Oke-Agbara Oluwatedo, Ashi, Ibadan. Musicians’ night took place on Thursday at the same venue.
A lying-in-state ceremony was held on Friday at Adamasingba Stadium Mokola, Ibadan, followed by a wake at the same location.
The funeral service took place at the cleric’s residence on Saturday, with interment to take place at CAC Oke Agbara Oluwatedo, Ashi.
An outing service will follow at Adamasingba Stadium while a reception for guests will be hosted at the Recreational Center, Mokola, Ibadan.
