AY Makun thanks Segun Arinze for voicing first AY Live jingle

Comedian and filmmaker, Ayo (AY) Makun, has thanked Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze, for voicing the jingle for the first installation of his flagship event, AY Live.

In an Instagram post on Monday, AY, 48, thanked Arinze for his friendship as he celebrated the movie veteran’s birthday.

“From my university days till date i have been privileged to enjoy the services and guidance of this industry General. This is just another opportunity for me to thank you for giving me that prestigious facelift when you attended the awards i organised on campus years ago. That was you telling me it was possible to fraternise with people we see on television. Thank you for creating an enabling environment on stage with you as a co-master of ceremonies at the event that eventually gave me my first visa abroad. That was you telling the world that the sky is wide enough for everyone to fly.

“Thank you for voicing the first ever Ay Live jingle. That was you encouraging and believing that the young shall grow in the entertainment business,” he wrote in parts.

A dramatic arts graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Segun Arinze combines acting with singing, voice-over artistry and other creative endeavours.

He is popularly known as Black Arrow, a monicker he got from a role he played.
