Atiku’s media adviser Paul Ibe loses mum

Paul Ibe, media adviser to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election Atiku Abubakar, has lost his mother.

Mr Ibe announced his mother’s death on Thursday.

Media mogul and PDP chieftain Dele Momodu shared on Instagram a brief statement announcing the incident.

“The Coordinator of Atiku Media Office, Mazi Paul Ibe today announced the passing to life after life of his beloved mother. Please remember him and his siblings at this moment of personal loss and grief. Thank you,” the statement said.

In June 2015, Atiku appointed Ibe head of his media office.

Ibe took over from Garba Shehu appointed senior special assistant (media and publicity) to then President Muhammadu Buhari.

Until his appointment, Ibe, who worked with Garba as deputy director (media and publicity) of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, was deputy head of the Atiku Media Office.
