Leaving ADC means Peter Obi is working for Tinubu – Kenneth Okonkwo

Actor and lawyer Kenneth Okonkwo has stated that if Peter Obi leaves the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after failing to get its presidential ticket, it would mean he is working for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Kenneth made this statement during an interview on Channels Television. Responding to rumors about Obi’s potential exit from the party if he does not become the flagbearer, Okonkwo described such a move as “mobile squatting.”

He said: “If he leaves, will he now be a mobile squatter? Anybody, any presidential aspirant in ADC and seeing what everybody is going through and leaves ADC for another party, one, he is a mobile squatter and two, he is working for Tinubu.”

Kenneth further alleged that any individual who leaves the current coalition is doing so to benefit the ruling party.

“Anybody that goes out of the coalition is compromised and is working for Tinubu. Whoever that person is.”

Kenneth is among coalition figures linked to the African Democratic Congress platform in ongoing opposition realignment talks ahead of the 2027 general elections, alongside figures such as Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi.
