Africa’s richest man and business mogul, Aliko Dangote, has stated that he is on the lookout for a new wife.

He made the revelation in an interview with David Pilling of Financial Times published on Wednesday.

The businessman said that he is on the lookout but it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody when he doesn’t have the time.

“I’m not getting younger. Sixty years is no joke. But it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody if you don’t have the time. Right now, things are really, really very busy, because we have the refinery, we have the petrochemicals, we have the fertiliser, we have the gas pipeline,” he said.

The 61-year-old has been divorced twice and has three grown-up daughters.

Dangote gave his daughter, Fatima, out in marriage to Abubakar Jamil, a pilot and son of former Inspector-General of police, Mohammed Abubakar, in March.

The wedding ceremony was held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, and was attended by Microsoft founder, Bill Gates.

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; Senate President, Bukola Saraki; National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and a host of other eminent personalities were present at the ceremony.
