A video clip has emerged the burial ceremony of Adeyemi Kosoko, father of Adekunle Gold, showing the singer emotional as he performed final rites at the close-knit funeral.
The video of the singer fighting back tears at the grave site in his traditional attire has since gone viral.
Prince Adeyemi Kosoko passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness, and had served as a permanent secretary at the Lagos state ministry of Education until his death.
Adekunle Gold had cried tears of joy in December 2018 as his father was sworn in as a permanent secretary by former Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
He had described his father as a man who refused to cut corners, whose dream has always been to become a permanent secretary in Lagos.
