Gift Nda-Eno, popularly known as Gift Eno, has shared insights into her journey to becoming a beauty queen and her plans to represent Nigeria at the Miss Supranational in Poland.
In an interview with Sunday Sun, Gift Eno said she was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria in August 2025 and will compete at the global pageant in July 2026.
Speaking on her preparation, she described the process as demanding but rewarding.
“It’s been amazing and it’s been very exciting. It’s been so many sleepless nights, and learning and unlearning, but I’m certain that my team and I, we are working together to ensure that we put Nigeria on the map,” she said.
She noted that her focus goes beyond physical appearance. “At this point, it’s beyond just the physical aspect; it is mental, emotional, and purposeful preparation as well.”
GiftEno said her passion for pageantry stems from its impact on women.
“Beauty pageant has always been a dream. I have seen it transform the lives of other women, turn them into leaders that have made impact in our society today,” she said.
The Akwa Ibom indigene, who grew up in Orile Iganmu, Lagos, said her upbringing shaped her resilience.
“Growing up in Orile Iganmu gave me a very real understanding of life, community and acceptance,” she said.
She also credited her mother’s efforts for inspiring her drive to succeed.
Looking ahead, Gift Eno said she plans to expand her advocacy project, Bloom Within, which focuses on empowering young girls, while also exploring opportunities in acting, public speaking and business.
The Miss Supranational pageant, held annually in Poland, features contestants from dozens of countries and remains one of the notable international beauty competitions.
The 2026 edition of Miss Supranational is scheduled to hold on July 31, 2026, in Nowy Sącz, Poland, where contestants from across the world will compete for the crown.
