Super Eagles striker and one of Nigeria’s most-travelled footballers, Odion Ighalo, clocked 28 on Friday.
Having played in Africa, Europe and most recently, Asia, Ighalo’s fanbase cuts across these continents.
The forward began his career with local sides, Prime and Julius Berger before sojourning to play in four European countries; Norway (Lyn), Italy (Udinese), Spain (Granada) and England (Watford).
As if that wasn’t enough, Ighalo’s voyage has now taken him to Asia where he plays for Chinese side, Changchun Yatai.
No wonder supporters of these clubs, not forgetting his nationals, went on Twitter to mark this special day.
