Afrobeats singer and producer Young Jonn is set to release his new single titled ‘Elumelu’ on Friday.
His record label Chocolate City announced the release in a post on X on Thursday.
“The long anticipated @YoungJonn “ELUMELU” drops this Friday, May 29th!
Who else is excited?” the label wrote.
The song has generated anticipation on social media following several teasers and snippets shared online, including posts circulated by music platform NotJustOk.
Young Jonn also shared a snippet of the music video on his Instagram page on Thursday, further building excitement ahead of the release.
Born John Udomboso, Young Jonn first gained recognition as a producer, working on hit songs for artistes including Olamide, Lil Kesh and Davido before transitioning fully into performing music.
He signed with Chocolate City in 2022 and has since released projects including Love Is Not Enough, Jiggy Forever and hit singles such as ‘Xtra Cool,’ ‘Currency’ featuring Olamide and ‘Big Big Things’ featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez.
