The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has penned a touching tribute to his wife, Olori Ivie Atuwatse III, in celebration of her 39th birthday.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, the monarch showered praises on the queen, describing her as a compassionate mother, a gracious queen and a loving wife.
“My darling Olori, as we celebrate another year, I am filled with immense gratitude for all that the Almighty has done and continues to do with your life. I’m also reminded of the beginning and how this journey has only deepened the love we share with each passing moment,” he wrote.
“I’m so grateful for your support, and encouragement all these years as you gracefully wear your many hats.
“As a queen, you embody the very essence of compassion, kindness and generosity, touching the lives of our people with tireless dedication and unmatched passion.
“As a mother, you are the very heartbeat of our family, nurturing and guiding our children with unwavering love, patience, and devotion.
“And as my darling wife, you are the sunshine that brightens every day, the calm in every storm, and the loving heart that beats in perfect harmony with mine. Your love and laughter are joys that make my life richer, my heart fuller, and my spirit more at peace. I am forever grateful to have you by my side.
“The children and I say happy birthday to you, my love.”
Olori Ivie also marked her birthday with an appreciation post on Instagram, reflecting on her faith and personal journey.
“Dear God, Thank You.
“The light has come— not because I willed it, but because You spoke it.
“You have covered me in splendour. You have caused Your glory to stream through me. And now, I rise— not for recognition, but in response.
“Let every step I take this year reflect You. Let every word carry Your weight. Let every assignment honour the light You’ve entrusted to me.
“This rising is Yours. This glory is Yours. This heart is Yours,” she wrote.
