Yemi Alade’s brother endorsed as assistant police superintendent

Brother of pop singer, Yemi Alade, has been endorsed as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP) after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The excited singer shared the news on Instagram on Thursday with photos of her brother in his official outfit.

“I can’t contain my joy! My not so little baby brother just graduated with a B.Sc in Psychology and thus endorsed as ASP of the Nigerian Police Force!” she said.

Yemi Alade’s father, Provost Marshall James Alade, was a police commissioner until his death.

The 30-year-old is the fifth born of seven children in her family.

The singer threw a light jibe at security agencies, saying that her brother is the kind of person the country’s security outfits need.

“It is such intellectuals Nigeria deserves as their security personnel! Book smart, psychologically sane and skilled and physically fit!!!! I LOVE YOU BR. Happy graduation!” she said.
