Afrobeat star Yemi Alade has congratulated her colleague Tems on her Golden Globe nomination.
The nominees’ list was announced on social media on Monday.
Tems was nominated alongside American pop star Rihanna for their collaboration on the soundtrack for Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The singers were nominated for best original song alongside fellow song writers Ludwig Göransson and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler.
On Tuesday, Yemi took to Instagram to celebrate Tems and her latest achievement.
She wrote: “Big Tems @temsbaby isa WORLD WIDE BABY!! Congratulations to you and your entire team.”
Yemi show of support for her junior colleague was applauded by her followers who hailed her in the comment section of the post.
