Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has joined millions of his compatriots in wishing the Super Eagles victory over Zambia.

Atiku, 70, served as the country’s number two citizen between 1999 and 2007.

Nigeria square off with the Chipolopolo on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, with a win enough to seal their place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

And Atiku, someone not too popular around the sporting circle but in the political terrain, has gone out of his way to drum support for the Eagles.

The All Peoples Congress (APC) chieftain believes the round leather game is an excellent tool which unifies the country in a challenging time as this.
