Oba Elegushi’s decision to take second wife was tough for me – Olori Sekinat

Oba Elegushi married Olori Sekinat in 2003 and the union has produced three daughters. Their marriage clocked 20 years in May.

The monarch married a second wife Hadiza Yakasai from Kano in 2019.

Olori Sekinat had said in an interview that she is not bothered by her husband’s decision to marry another wife and that all men cheat.

In May, it was rumoured that the queen fell into a coma in Turkey after undergoing a bum enlargement surgery.

But the Elegushi Palace debunked the rumour.

Temitope Oyefeso, spokesman of Oba Elegushi, said in a statement that the rumour was born from the “wicked imaginations of the authors.”

The palace insisted that the senior wife of the king was hale and hearty and going about her responsibilities in the palace.
