Wizkid stops harassment of female fan at Uganda concert

Like a script borrowed from D’banj, Wizkid momentarily stopped singing at a concert in Uganda on Thursday to stop a male fan harassing a female in the crowd.

A video shared on social media shows the multiple award winner telling his instrumentalists to stop playing as he called out the man who was assaulting the lady.

“One love one love one love Wizkid’s show is all about love, we preach love we are for love, don’t touch that girl.

“Don’t you touch that girl bro. Don’t you ever touch a woman again in your life,” the 27-year-old is shown saying.

He then added that the young woman should be brought to him on stage.

“Bring her on stage she’s about to party with Wizkid,” he said.

A similar scenario played out when D’banj halted his performance at Phynofest 2017 concert at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on November 19 to rescue a female fan who was being sexually assaulted.

After preaching against harassment, D’banj also requested that the young woman be brought to him on stage.
