Video: Nigerian man breaks down on TV after DNA shows 32-year-old son isn’t his

A Nigerian man identified simply as Oscar has discovered on live TV that he is not the biological father of a child he raised for 32 years.

Oscar and his son, Valentine, appeared on UK tabloid show, The Jeremy Kyle Show, after Valentine’s mother called him from Nigeria to confess that the man he has known as father all his life was not be his biological dad.

In a tense episode of the ITV programme, Jeremy is seen saying to the two men “The DNA test results show that Oscar is not your biological father.”

The older man is then seen wailing in despair as he says to Jeremy: “He’s not my son?”.

Jeremy responds by saying: “There’s a no per cent chance he’s your son” while Valentine remains speechless.

Oscar paid for Valentine to come over to England from Nigeria, and put him through school in Britain.

Later on in the show, Jeremy was seen comforting Oscar by saying: “Being a dad isn’t about being blood-related. It takes a man to look after a kid.”

Viewers responded to the revelation, with one describing it as the “saddest Jeremy Kyle ever”, while others said they were heartbroken by the bombshell.

Show producers later responded with a little update on Oscar:
