Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has criticised comedienne, Helen Paul, for supporting the marriage of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
Regina Daniels
is allegedly married to 59-year-old politician, Ned Nwoko, with the age gap
between them being a talking point in recent times.
Uche
Maduagwu criticised Helen Paul for supporting the marriage in an Instagram post
on Monday.
“@itshelenpaul Ma, please would you clap for
your 19 year old SON if he comes home from school with a 59 year old woman as a
WIFE to be?😁😁
Someone just showed me a video of you, and I just tried to twist the narrative
a bit, to know if you’ll still disagree with women who are against a 19 year
old girl allegedly getting married to her grandfathers age mate.
“There is a
Yoruba adage that says “its sweet to watch a stranger display madness in
the market”✏ but who will ever pray for any
member of his family to go through such trauma and agony?😭,” he wrote in
parts.
On Sunday,
Helen Paul had knocked critics of Regina Daniels’ alleged marriage to politician
and lawyer, Ned Nwoko, telling them to mind their business.

reported on Saturday that Regina Daniels appeared in public with Ned Nwoko.
The duo
stepped out together on Saturday as the Federal University of Petroleum
(FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State conferred a doctor of science degree (honoris
causa) on Nwoko.
There had
been speculation in the media that the actress, who puts her age at 18, had
gotten married to the prince of Idumuje-Ugboko kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government
Area of Delta State.
Many traced
the houses, flashy cars, fashion accessories and foreign trips she flaunts on
social media to the politician.
