Actress Regina Daniels has spoken about her early rise to fame and the emotional impact of growing up in the public eye.
In an interview with TikToker Jarvis, the actress reflected on becoming famous at a very young age and how it has shaped her life over the years.
“I attained stardom at the age of 7 and it’s been so overwhelming since then because I have so many people in my business. I barely have time for myself since I became popular,” she said.
She added that early fame brought both opportunities and pressure, noting that she has lived under constant public attention since childhood.
Speaking on her affection for children, she said,“I love kids cause I always want to give them opportunities I wasn’t given as a kid.
“I’m not a nepo kid the soft side of me is just inbuilt. I’m a proper ajekpako baby from a very poor home.”
Regina Daniels began acting as a child and featured in several Nollywood productions, which helped her gain early recognition in the film industry. Over the years, she transitioned from child roles into adult characters and has remained active in Nollywood.
She got married to Ned Nwoko in 2019 in a ceremony that drew public attention due to their age difference and Nwoko’s political profile.
They have two sons together, Munir, born in 2020, and Khalifa, born in 2022.
In 2025, their marriage became publicly strained following reports of disagreements between the couple. Their separation, which unfolded in late 2025 and escalated in early 2026, stems from highly publicised domestic disputes, with Daniels alleging emotional distress and Nwoko accusing her of drug and alcohol addiction.
