Author and socialite, Toke Makinwa, has announced landing a major role in an unnamed Nollywood movie.
The 32-year-old made the disclosure in a message on Instagram late on Tuesday.
Unlike in the past when she was featured as waka pass (extra), Toke is super excited at the prospect of playing a bigger part.
“A major production coming your way soon and filming starts tomorrow morning. I feel extremely blessed and highly lifted so overwhelmed with Gods goodness,” she wrote.
With the success of her book, On Becoming, released last year, endorsements and tour to different parts of the world, Toke admitted that “This year has been soooooo busy and fulfilling guys, God has really opened doors for me.”
Toke’s On Becoming is a tell-all memoir that documents details of her failed marriage to Maje Ayida, loss of her parents to a fire incident at age eight and other important events in her life.
She also runs a Vlog called Toke Moment where she dishes out often controversial lessons about love and life.
