Actor Timini Egbuson is celebrating a major milestone as his Valentine’s Day film, Reel Love, has officially entered the top 10 highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.

Timini shared the news on his Instagram page late Tuesday, posting the movie’s poster alongside a heartfelt caption.

“From our hearts to yours. N355M and counting! We couldn’t have done it without YOU!
#ReelLove has officially entered the Top 10 highest grossing Nollywood films of all time,” he wrote.

The romantic comedy, released on February 14, follows the story of popular relationship influencer Tomide Jobi (played by Timini) who gets entangled with a strong-willed woman, Rita Monday.

The film features a star-studded cast including Atlanta Bridget Johnson, Funke Akindele, Hermes Iyele, Bimbo Ademoye, Chico Aligwekwe, Dakore Akande and Efa Iwara.

Co-produced by FilmOne Studios and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, Reel Love had a strong debut, grossing N99.3 million in its opening weekend alone.

By day five, it had pulled in N107.55 million and within 10 days, the film surpassed N200 million, making it the first Nollywood release in 2025 to do so.

Though it trailed slightly behind Captain America (which made N121.7 million within the same Valentine’s Day weekend), Reel Love held its own, topping the Nollywood box office for three straight weekends with a cumulative N223.7 million at the time.

FilmOne had announced that the movie had grossed N167.2 million in just two weeks. Celebrating the achievement, the company wrote on social media:
“Only up from here! Reel Love has grossed over N167 million and counting! Thank you for showing this movie your love and support.”
