The London shows were held at Gateway House in Woolwich, a venue known within the African community. Performances took place last weekend on Saturday and Sunday, with two showings each day at 5:00pm and 8:00pm to meet demand.
No Wahala Therapy runs for about 90 minutes to two hours and is restricted to viewers aged 16 and above due to its themes, including migration, mental health and social status.
The UK tour was curated for Nigerians in the diaspora and focuses on the “Japa” experience, highlighting the realities and cultural adjustments that come with relocating to the United Kingdom.
The play was written by Omolola Lamikanra and directed by Mofe Duncan.
Its cast includes Timini Egbuson, BamBam, Ronke Oshodi-Oke and Lady Motara alongside Adekola.
The production has continued to draw attention among Nigerian audiences at home and abroad for its mix of humour and social themes, with the London outing marking another stage in its international run.
