Sophia Momodu threatens to sue Davido over alleged cyberbullying, harassment

Sophia Momodu, mother of singer Davido’s daughter Imade, has threatened to take legal action against him over an alleged threat to her life, cyberbullying and harassment.

The businesswoman through her lawyers issued a cease and desist letter to Davido, accusing him of using defamatory remarks and sponsoring negative publications about her.

In the letter dated January 10, Sophia claimed that Davido has continued with his “disruptive and unlawful conduct” despite an ongoing investigation following a petition against him.

Sophia also stated that Davido’s behaviour and actions are “Impeding our efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution concerning the arrangements for the care and welfare of Imade which is of paramount importance.”
