The official Instagram account created for Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of pop star Davido, has been deactivated after the former’s death.

Qed.ng’s check on the Instagram page on Wednesday, November 2, revealed that the account is no longer active on the platform.

Ifeanyi died by drowning on Monday, October 31, eleven days after celebrating his third birthday.

The account which was managed by Ifeanyi’s mother Chioma Rowland, contained several photos of the boy and his parents including pictures from his third birthday party.

Although the family has not yet released an official statement about the boy’s death at the time of filing this report, eight of the Davido’s domestic staff were interrogated by the police over the tragic incident which occurred at Davido’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

Six of them have been released while the nanny and cook remained in custody at the time of filing this report.

Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the detention of the two domestic workers said, “I spoke with the DPO and he said the nanny and the cook have been detained. Other domestic workers brought in for questioning were released.”

Davido and his fiancée Chioma, a popular chef and influencer, have not yet commented on their son’s death.

During a trip to London last month, the duo announced they would be getting married next year.
