Sifax Group CEO Taiwo Afolabi buries twin brother in Lagos

Taiwo Afolabi, managing director of Sifax Group, a conglomerate that deals in maritime, hospitality, aviation, oil and gas, has buried his twin brother, Kehinde Afolabi.

Kehinde reportedly died in his sleep on September 17, 2022, some months after he and his brother celebrated their 60th birthday.

The funeral rites began on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with a service of songs and a night of tributes, held at the Divine Emporium Event Centre, Isheri, Lagos.

It was attended by family members, friends, and associates.

The deceased was described as a gentleman, tolerant, hardworking, benevolent, and one with an angelic character.

His body was laid to earth on September 30, 2022, at the Ebony Vault, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Kehinde was the chairman and chief executive officer of Ken Dallas Hotel and Suites in Idimu, Lagos.

He was last seen publicly when he and Taiwo hosted a thanksgiving service where they dedicated Samson Afolabi Church which they built in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State as part of activities marking their 60th birthday.

He is survived by his brother, wife Yemisi Afolabi and three children among others.
