Shan George recovers N3.6m from fraudster after public appeal

Actress Shan George has recovered the N3.6 million stolen from her bank account by an internet fraudster after an appeal to the public for help.

The 54-year-old disclosed this a video on her Instagram account on Wednesday in which she promised to give full detail of her ordeal with the scammer.

She wrote: “Pls Join me here Live at 7 pm Nigeria time for full story. I’ve received my money back. Thank u to @zenithbankplc @opay.ng @safehavenmicrofinance.

“To al those who called, txted, and even sent me their token to enable me pursue d issue, God bless u abundantly and replenish ur pocketsa billion folds. #Shangeorge.”

Last week, Shan George shared a video on her Instagram account appealing for help to recover her money, saying, “Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro that is the name of the person that have just wiped all the money in my account, 3.6 million into an Opay account.

“I am begging everybody, please Zenith bank, Opay, Abeg make una help me. take God beg una.don’t have any kobo anywhere again, what will eat? no fit beg, I beg una, make una help me.

“EFCC, Nigerian police, abeg, I don’t know the authorities, Zenith bank, I an begging you people. It’s just today, 3rd of May, it’s not even up to an hour ago from now that am doing this video.

“I beg you people please. From Opay please help me reverse the money, N3.6 million. That is everything have in my whole life.”
