Ruth Kadiri declares self Anambra wives association president

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has declared herself the president of Anambra wives association.

The 33-year-old made the declaration in a video she uploaded on Instagram on Thursday October 28.

In the video, Ruth said that as a Benin girl, she is happy being married to an Anambra man.

The actress also joked that the position of the president is exclusively for her while others who are interested in joining the association can apply for the role of vice president or treasurer.

“Today I officially crown myself the president of Anambra association, nobody should drag my title, there are other office, you can become the treasurer, you can become the Vice President, you can become anything. As a Benin girl who married an Anambra man I can tell you categorically that I am a happy wife,” she said in the video.

Some of her colleagues took to the comment section of the video to hail the self-elected president.

Celebrities such as Laura Ikeji, Uche Nnanna and Sharon Oja joked that Ruth was only showering praises on her husband’s people because he credited her account.

Others praise Anambra men, saying that they know how to take care of their women.

Ruth announced her marriage to her husband Ezerika in 2017.

The mother of one who has managed to keep her private life and marriage off social media uploaded a picture of her husband on February 14, 2020 to celebrate Valentine’s day.

The picture shows her husband’s back as he carries her in his arms.

She captioned it: “Thanks for the love you give, happy Vals day hubby.”

The couple welcomed a baby girl, Reign, on August 26, 2019.
