Runtown gets US stimulus package despite ban

Singer, Douglas Agu, popularly known as Runtown, has announced that he has received a stimulus package from the Government of the United States of America even though he was banned from entering the country two years ago.

The 30-year-old revealed this on Twitter on Thursday.

He tweeted, “Got Stimulus Payment from the US lol, will share to my friends here.”

Then he added, “Plot Twist: Been banned from the US for 2 years now.”

The news about the ‘Made over You’ singer’s ban, was first leaked in December 2018 by Johnson Adumike, the General Manager of Eric Many Entertainment, his former record label.

He claimed that the was banned for overstaying his visa.

“The P-3 visa which allows an artist or entertainer, individually or as a group, to enter the U.S that Eric Many got for Runtown and his brothers to enter the United States has expired and Runtown’s brothers did not come back causing their visas to expire,” he said.
