Remi Tinubu visits Lagos GAC chairman Tajudeen Olusi over wife’s death

First lady Remi Tinubu on Monday paid a condolence visit to the chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos Tajudeen Olusi over his wife’s death.

Mrs Olusi, mother of chairman of Lagos Island Council Adetoyese Olusi, died on Saturday aged 77.

The first lady was accompanied on the visit by the wife of Lagos State governor Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and wife of the deputy governor Oluremi Hamzat.

Mrs Tinubu described the death of Olusi’s wife as painful, as it occurred a day after the GAC chairman celebrated his 87th birthday.

The first lady shared fond memories of the late Olusi whom she said was a quiet, gentle and loving woman.

She urged the widower, children and grandchildren to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life.

Olusi thanked the first lady for the visit, saying he would sorely miss the woman he spent 57 years of his life with.
