Prophetess Yinka Olugbenga, a former senior member of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), on Thursday, December 30 met the parents of some indigent children in Malawi.

She had said she received divine instruction to help the children while having her quiet time.

“Whilst having quiet time with God; l closed my eyes and l saw these wonderful children beside me, asking for my help. l don’t know them. l said to myself this is God speaking to me.

“After telling me their needs, the Spirit of God asked me to attend to them immediately. Brethren anywhere can be a best place to witness for Christ.

“Brethren, if you consider how far you have come, you may not want to share the dividend of your success with others. l thank God for giving me this assignment l never prepared for. Glory be to God!” she wrote in a social media post on Tuesday, December 28.

However, on Thursday, December 30, she met the parents of the children whom she identified as Jacob, Hopeson and Dennis.

She gave Jacob and Hopeson back-to-school items and handed cash to Dennis’s parents for him to return to school.

Her post on Instagram read, “Today, thursday, l am so humbled to meet these young children with their families. After listening to their plights, school uniforms, notebooks, school shoes, daily wears were provided for Jacob and Hopeson.

“Also Dennis together with his parent receives cash gift for him to go back to school.

“Remember, in mercy they were not excluded. May the mercy of Lord locate you anywhere you are in Jesus name.”

Prophetess Yinka emphasises the need for Christians to reach out to the needy especially in the yuletide season.

According to her, she learnt from her mentor Prophet TB Joshua to think less of herself and more about others.
