Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has announced plans to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the death of its founder Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua.

In a statement issued on Monday, the church said the event, themed “Rejoicing with the Saints,” will hold on June 5.

The anniversary will be preceded by a two-day revival on June 2 and 3 at the church’s Faith Resort Ground in Agodo, Lagos.

According to SCOAN, the programme will bring together worshippers, gospel ministers, dignitaries and followers of the late cleric from different countries.

Activities lined up for the event include worship sessions, documentary presentations, testimonies and discussions on the life and ministry of TB Joshua.

A documentary on his life, ministry and humanitarian work will be screened during the programme.

The church said the film is intended to highlight his contributions to Christianity, charity and evangelism.

There will also be a “Walk Way Experience” where visitors from different countries will share personal reflections on how the late pastor influenced their lives.

A conversation session will feature guests and associates discussing their experiences with him and the impact of his ministry.

Among those expected to participate are Willard Gomani of Malawi, Pastor Acosta of Argentina, Mama Akinola of Nigeria, Sybrand of South Africa and Adisley and Enrique of Spain.

Virtual contributions are also expected from Colombia, the United Kingdom and the Dominican Republic.

The church said the participation of people from different countries reflects the international reach of TB Joshua’s ministry, which attracted followers and visitors from more than 100 countries during his lifetime.

Musical performances will be led by gospel singers Christiana Shusho and Brian Cage.

SCOAN leader Evelyn Joshua is also expected to address attendees during the event.

TB Joshua died on June 5, 2021, at the age of 57. He founded SCOAN in Lagos and became known for his preaching, humanitarian activities and television ministry through Emmanuel TV.

Since his death, Mrs Joshua has overseen the church’s activities and continued programmes established during his lifetime.

The church said the anniversary would provide an opportunity for followers to reflect on the values TB Joshua promoted, including faith, charity and service to others.
