Indigenous rapper and record producer, Phyno, has been honoured with a statue of his own at Eleme Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The 31-year-old from Enugu State shared a photo of the statue on Instagram on Monday with the caption “Akpuola d boy Na eleme junction PH,” which loosely translates to “statue of the boy at Eleme Junction”.

Phyno recently released the video for his song ‘Onyeoma’, which features YBNL boss, Olamide.

Opening scenes of the video see the two debate the direction of the video and they eventually settled for a fan-centric one that portrays the modern day relationship between artistes and their fans.

Clarence Peters directed the video shot at Capital Dreams Pictures Studio, Lagos.
