Patience Ozokwo apologises again to people scammed in her name

Actress Patience Ozokwo on Monday December 6 apologised to those who have been defrauded by scammers using a product she had advertised.

The 63-year-old in an Instagram post stated that scammers have been using the promotional videos she made to scam members of the public.

“Please note that I followed due diligence and researched Boldgains before agreeing to be their ambassador. I travelled to Dubai to meet the founders and I checked their products.

“That being said, be aware that scammers and fraudsters are using my Boldgains promotional videos to scam people. My sincere apologies to all who have been scammed already,” she wrote in parts.

On October 29, the veteran actress lamented the rate at which scammers use her name to defraud members of the public.

The veteran actress apologised to all who have been defrauded in her name, adding that she is doing all she can to close fraudulent social media accounts created in her name.

“My apologies to all those who have been duped in my name. I have tried to close so many fake accounts – still trying. Please note that anything that sounds too good to be true is probably not true. Investigate before you invest. Check for real accounts and contacts,” she wrote on Instagram.
