I’m a Yoruba woman, Lillian Bach knocks critic of wearing traditional outfits

Actress Lillian Bach has knocked a follower who criticised her for always wearing traditional outfits to events.

The actress who recently attended a wedding, shared a video of herself on Instagram on Wednesday, showing off her matching outfit with a black gele.

However, a follower who seemed disappointed over her looks, questioned Lilian’s choice of wearing traditional outfits but the actress knocked the critic, saying that she is a Yoruba woman, a response that led to them trading words in the comment section of the post.

“Lily is a very very natural beautiful woman. There’s just one thing missing out: her taste of style doesn’t match up with her beauty. In other words: although she has a beauty of a western woman, she seems stuck in African wear. Traditional outfit is not for everyone. Lily, you are my Nollywood crush actress of all times,” the follower named forte_negro wrote.

“@forte.negro I am a Yoruba woman and nobody can stop me from rocking my native attire including Gele,” Lillian Bach responded.

“@iamlilianbach knew that was going to be your response. No offense sweetheart. You are my Nollywood crush of all times,” Negro replied.

“@forte.negro when you use words like “stuck” on African wears. That tells me you are not my fan or a follower, otherwise, you would have seen that on my page rock both western and African outfits perfectly well, depending on the dress code of the event. I can never be stuck or clueless when it comes to fashion. Pls do your research very well before you comment on people’s pages,” Lillian Bach.

Lilian was born in Lagos Island to a Yoruba mother and a Polish father.
