Osun police boss pays Alapomu courtesy visit

Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Babatunde Kokumo, has paid a courtesy visit to Oba Kayode Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu.

Alapomu commended Mr Kokumo for ‘remarkable improvement’ in security and peaceful atmosphere in the state.

He said kidnapping and banditry had reduced since Kokumo took over as commissioner of police.

Alapomu advised Kokumo not to relent on the good job he is doing.

In his response, Kokumo thanked the state government for giving him the needed support to perform and promised to do more to guarantee safety of lives and properties.

He thanked the Alapomu and his chiefs for giving him a rousing welcome.

Before visiting the Alapomu, Kokumo went on familiarisation tour of police formations in Isokan Local Government Area headquartered in Apomu.
