Omotola’s iPhone stolen at Miss Nigeria pageant

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, saw the ugly side of a beauty contest when her new iPhone was stolen at the 2017 Miss Nigeria beauty pageant held in Lagos on Thursday.

Omotola, who was one of the judges at the event, took to Instagram on Friday to plead with whoever has the phone to return it.

“Pls If you picked it or know Someone who did? Or someone’s trying to sell it to you… It can’t be used its Locked. However very valuable contacts will be lost. Pls help return (sic),” she begged.

The 39-year-old then gave a brief lecture on why Nigerians need to register their phones the way they register their sim cards.


Other judges at the pageant which produced Mildred Ehiguese as winner include Joke Silva, Adebola Williams, Odio Oseni and Tara Durotoye.
