Nollywood sweetheart, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, has responded to speculations she is auditioning for a role in Fox’s award winning show, Empire.
When asked during a press conference in Ghana about the reports, the actress cheekily asked “Is that a rumour in Ghana?”
After the journalist told her the rumour was circulating in the US, she continued, “Oh US? Maybe they want me to be in Empire. But then they would have to remove Taraji, because I’m a diva, I can’t share space with her.”
Taraji P. Henson is an award winning American actress that plays Cookie Lyon on the hit Fox show.
Omotola who has starred in over 200 Nollywood productions made her US television debut in VH1’s scripted series, Hit the Floor in 2013 starring alongside Akon, Kimberly Elise and Katherine Bailess.
