Batifeori was born on 30th January 2016 in St. Ives Hospital in Lagos. He is Olamide’s first child from his longtime partner Aisha Suleiman.

The couple kept the child’s pregnancy very quiet but had an elaborate naming ceremony after he was born. The ceremony was attended by then Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola.

It was reported in March that Olamide had asked Aisha to be his wife. The YBNL boss was said to have bent on his knee before Aisha as he proposed to her on her birthday.

Olamide, who raps mostly in Yoruba, has been described as ‘the voice of the ghetto’.
