In celebration of International Women’s day, Ebony Life Films headed by media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu, on Tuesday, March 8, hosted about 200 women to a private champagne screening of the movie, Fifty, at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in The Palms, Lekki, Lagos.
The event was attended by several top entertainers including Omoni Oboli, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Dakore Akande, Ireti Doyle, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Omawumi, Ruby Gyang and Uzor Osimpa. Media sensation, Olajumoke Orisaguna, was also at the star studded event dressed in a polka dot gown with peach embroidery accompanied with a block heel shoes.
Mo Abudu’s latest franchise, Fifty, in December 2015 reportedly grossed twenty million naira during the holiday weekend thus breaking box office record after recording the highest-ever opening for a Nigerian film.
