Nollywood actor Femi Branch was among the stars who attended the 2026 edition of the Ojude Oba Festival, joined by fellow entertainers Iya Rainbow, Olatayo Amokade (Ijebu) and Dayo Amusa.
The annual cultural celebration held on Friday in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, and once again drew a large turnout of traditional groups, dignitaries and members of the public.
Femi Branch attended the event with other guests, including Iya Rainbow, Ijebu, Jide Awobona and Dayo Amusa, who appeared in coordinated traditional outfits. The males appeared in matching agbada outfits paired with fila caps and accessories, while female participants wore coordinated yellow outfits consisting of wrappers and blouses with matching accessories.
The festival grounds were filled with cultural displays as different age grade groups known as regberegbe showcased their heritage through colourful attire.
Ojude Oba Festival is an annual cultural celebration in Ijebu Ode that honours the Awujale of Ijebuland. It is usually held a few days after Eid al Kabir and has become one of the most prominent cultural gatherings in southwestern Nigeria.
Over the years, the festival has continued to attract visitors from across Nigeria and the diaspora, with fashion displays, horse riding parades and cultural performances contributing to its growing visibility both on ground and across social media.
