Big Brother Naija season six winner and singer Hazel Onou, better known as Whitemoney, has revealed that no cooking brand approached him for a deal after his time on the show.
The reality TV star disclosed this on the latest episode of The House Chronicles’ podcast.
Whitemoney was famous for cooking meals in the Big Brother house.
He also said that singing has been his forte even before he got into the show.
Whitemoney said: “I was already into music before (going on the Big Brother Naija reality show). It is just that I was doing more of highlife. Back in the day, I had a band and everything, and there was no media to really show us out, but I did my thing low-key. I have been in music for long. I got my scholarship as a drummer to go to school.”

“When I came out (of Big Brother Naija show), the opportunities that presented themselves were not cooking opportunities. In fact, no cooking brand came to me. For those who are saying, ‘When this one start singing?’ I think they forgot that 99 per cent of the music composed in Big Brother house was done by me,” he added.
In October 2022, Banky W denied signing Whitemoney to his record label Empire Mates Entertainment.
