The NLNG sponsored Nigeria Prizes call for entries for the 2026 edition has officially closed.

The announcement was shared on the official Instagram page of Nigeria LNG Limited on Friday.

The post featured an image of a film clapperboard with the words “IT’S A WRAP”. It also stated that entries have now moved into the next stage of assessment.

The caption read, “It’s a Wrap!
The submission window for the 2026 Nigeria Prizes is now officially closed.
What happens next? Entries move into a rigorous review and adjudication process led by our esteemed judges.
Thank you for being part of this year’s journey.”

It added, “The call for entries for The Nigeria Prizes 2026 are now officially closed. Every entry now faces the test of excellence.
Thank you for being part of this year’s journey. Watch this space for more updates”

The prizes, sponsored by Nigeria LNG Limited, cover Science and Innovation, Literature, and Creative Arts.

For the 2026 edition, the Science and Innovation category focuses on AI and ICT, Literature focuses on Poetry, while Creative Arts focuses on Documentary filmmaking.

Nigeria Prizes was established in 2004 by Nigeria LNG Limited to reward excellence in literature and science, and has since expanded to include creative arts.
