Singer Peter Okoye has sparked reactions from Twitter users following his statement about P-Square closing down O2 Arena in London.

Qed.ng had reported that the 40-year-old bragged that P-Square will sell out tickets to their O2 Arena concert with or without releasing a new song.

On Tuesday, a curious Twitter user @IkukuomaC questioned if the singer or any other entertainer can sell-out O2 Arena. Nigerians stormed the social media platform on Wednesday to react.

“This is not an argument, Psquare can’t sell out O2 arena even with massive promotion,” @Bayro tweeted.

“Psquare will sell out O2 arena..Only rudeboy will sell out O2..the two combined will sell out in less than one week,” @Ezeabia retorted.

@Jerale wrote: “If there’s one other Nigerian artiste that can fill up the 02, it’s Psquare. The problem I see here is that people don’t really recognize how big Psquare is and I can only guess these are people born from 2002 downwards.”

“Let’s be honest, PSquare can sell out O2, people will buy tix just to have that nostalgic experience. You would be surprised,” @Oladimeji wrote.

“The only problem I have with Psquare and the O2 is how will they squeeze their many hits in that small amount of time,” @ThatPHBoy tweeted.

@Percious wrote: “Lol Everyone can sell O2 even Psquare think they can? Okay.”
