Michelle Gentry, daughter of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, celebrated her 19th birthday on Saturday, July 11.
To celebrate her daughter’s birthday, Mercy posted a picture of the teenager’s naming ceremony and other baby pictures on Instagram, describing her as “my first fruit, my princess, my joy, my world, my everything.”
She also posted a picture of them together, writing “I woke up with a heart full of gratitude. For indeed Jehovah has been faithful!”
Mercy had her daughter from a relationship that predates her entrance into the movie industry.
Michelle was adopted by hotelier, Lanre Gentry, who the actress got married to in 2013.
The couple later separated over allegation of domestic violence for which Gentry was arrested, detained and charged to court.
They have a son, Juwon Gentry, together.
