Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, on Monday announced the death of her father.
The 38-year-old actress made the announcement on Instagram with the message “Rest on Dad”.
It was a shocking reception for the actress who just returned from a vacation in Miami, USA.
“Only to come back and this happened, I am beyond shocked. Goodnight dad”, she wrote in another post.
The news of Mercy’s father’s death comes a week after her colleague, Toyin Abraham, lost her dad as well.
Both actresses are from Edo State.
They are both separated from their husbands.
While Toyin accuses hers, Adeniyi Johnson, of infidelity, Mercy’s Lanre Gentry was dragged to court and sent to Kirikiri Prison for wife battery.
