Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe on Friday got fans worried following a picture of herself shared on Instagram with a black eye.

The actress said the picture represents how she feels at this time.

“This picture is a representation of how I feel this morning! Broken! Traumatised but guess what, amidst all this craziness I’m still hopeful!!!!!!” she wrote.

Explaining further, Mercy said in another post to quell worries, “To all those asking what happened to me in the pix on my last post, pix was taken on a movie set, what’s on my face is makeup.

“I just used that pix to representative my emotions and how I feel…………thanks for the love.”

Mercy joined the #EndSARS protest in Lagos and shared food and drinks to protesters.
