Masked musician, Lagbaja, has clarified that May 19 is not his birthday.
He made the clarification in a text message sent to Qed.ng publisher, Olumide Iyanda, on Tuesday.
Reacting to birthday greetings sent to him on social media, the musician wrote: “No mind dem jare. Na fake birthday news o…”
The ‘Konko Below’ singer had earlier received birthday messages from prominent personalities including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
Many fans also took to social media to send goodwill messages to him with #Lagbajaat60 trending on Twitter.
Lagbaja the musician insists he does not have a birthday.
His promoter, Bisade Ologunde, was, however, born in April 1960.
Mr Ologunde celebrated his 60th birthday quietly last month.
