Leon Balogun and the entire Super Eagles’ team have been in Port Harcourt for footballing reasons.
Gernot Rohr’s men have been camping in the Oil City before Monday’s 1-1 draw with DR Congo.
However, that hasn’t stopped the newly-signed Brighton star from exploring the Garden City.
In one of his tours, Balogun stumbled into a highly talented 15-year-old singer.
Simply described as Eric, the chap was spotted on a Leicester City jersey doing a rendition of the national anthem.
Balogun couldn’t contain his excitement, rushing off to Twitter to flaunt his new discovery.
“Meet 15-year-old Port Harcourt originale, Eric! So happy that I’ve met you and got the chance to listen to your amazing voice – still got goosebumps,” he wrote alongside a short clip.

Balogun is a well-known lover of music.
He is expected to play a huge part for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia.
