World Cup hangover: Onyekuru lashes out at Anderlecht coach

Henry Onyekuru
Super Eagles youngster, Henry Onyekuru, appears not to have recovered from the shock of missing the World Cup.
The Everton forward was surprisingly not called up by Gernot Rohr in his 30-man provisional squad for Russia.
Onyekuru, on loan at Anderlecht, hasn’t played first-team football since sustaining a major injury in December.
Despite recovering to full fitness towards the end of the season, the 19-year-old was still snubbed by his manager, Hein Vanhaezebrouck.
This didn’t go down well with the ex-Eupen star who is already considering heading elsewhere on loan next term.
“I go somewhere where I do get respect,” Onyekuru told Belgian press.
“I was fit, but I did not play, so I will not stay with Anderlecht. The manager (Hein Vanhaezebrouck) has not spoken to me for weeks.
“I know what he told the media about me. I heard from the media that I was not ready.
“You do not treat a player like that  especially after working so hard in those months to return to action.”
The young forward has been linked with a move to Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach, while Turkish side  Besiktas are also rumoured to be interested in his services.
Onyekuru has been capped just once by Nigeria.
