Kwara governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, loses aunt

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has lost his aunt, Neematalahi AbdulRazaq.

She passed on Monday night at the AbdulRazaqs’ Idigba family house in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.

Neematalahi has been laid to rest on Tuesday at the Muslim Cemetery Yidi Road, Ilorin.

According to the governor’s media office, Fidau prayers for her will take place on Friday at the family house.

The governor has also commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the passing of his mother, Aishatu Sulu-Gambari.

“We pray Allah to grant the great princess of Ilorin emirate al-jannah firdaus. On behalf of the people and Government of Kwara State, I commiserate with His Eminence the Emir Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.

“We take solace in the fact that Allah blessed Alhaja with long life which she spent serving her creator and humanity,” AbdulRazaq said.
