King Sunny Ade’s music helps when I work late – Tony Elumelu

Founder of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, says he sometimes listens to Juju music maestro, King Sunny Ade (KSA) when he has to work late.

Mr Elumelu posted a video of himself on Instagram humming to KSA’s ‘Merciful God’ released in 2000.

“Sometimes, #KSA is all it takes to keep one going when you have to work late. #KingSunnyAde #TOEWay,” he wrote.

The entrepreneur was part of businessmen and women who joined world leaders at the seventh edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) in Japan.

The conference, the largest in Japan, lasted from August 28-30.

Elumelu shared insights as a thought leader on African entrepreneurship.
